This indicator measures international public finance provided to developing countries for the conservation and sustainable use of biodiversity and ecosystems. This includes official development assistance (ODA),other official flows (OOF) and private sector instruments (PSI) from the DAC Creditor Reporting System (CRS) from bilateral DAC donors, non-DAC donors, as well as contributions from multilateral institutions, and complemented with flows reported under the Total Official Support for Sustainable Development (TOSSD) framework.
The data displayed here is the annual official development assistance for biodiversity provided by OECD Development Assistance Committee (DAC) donors, through the Creditor Reporting System (CRS). Total ODA transferred for use in biodiversity and conservation efforts are displayed by recipient and by donor in constant US dollars.
